In this xp232 subcensus, every oscillator after the first is either simply a different generation of the same oscillator, or not a p232 oscillator at all: http://catagolue.appspot.com/census/b2e ... 8/C1/xp232

Every single oscillator reported in the b3aiy4ew5ace6c7c8s2-ai3-jkq4ceirt5ce6-ak7c8/C1 census is fake: the supposed xp52s are wickstretchers and the supposed xp68 is a spacefiller.

A 28P7.2 variant was reported recently (just yesterday), but the linked sample soup doesn't actually produce anything:

Heavpoot just accidentally submitted a couple of broken hauls to the Move/Morley census.

https://catagolue.appspot.com/haul/b368 ... d2a0515916
https://catagolue.appspot.com/haul/b368 ... b527d8fcdc

Each one consists of about 156 million dots and a couple of large still lifes, none of which work when you actually click on them.

Also both meth and methuselah prefixes exist in the stats page
Edit: It's fixed

Catagolue seems to attempt to run bsfkl rules using lifeviewer, which doesn't currently support such rules:

http://catagolue.appspot.com/object/xp8 ... 4k23l01234

This is not the case with LtL.

Can we please not clutter the forum with such pointless trivialities? I'm sure LifeViewer will gain BSFKL support in due time, and when it does and when Catagolue updates its version, this "oddity" (which is really anything but) will disappear.

You really should ask yourself, before posting, whether doing so is worth alerting every single last person who subscribed to a thread, presumably on the assumption that new posts would indicate interesting, insightful, informative or otherwise worthwhile content.

Thank you.

EDIT: I should add that I wouldn't be nearly as annoyed by this if it were an isolated occurence, but it's actually a recurring pattern, no pun intended. Please see the proverb quoted in my sig, and perhaps keep it in mind when posting in the future.
If you speak, your speech must be better than your silence would have been. — Arabian proverb

Okay, why is this response so hostile? Muzik posted something legitimately odd, that the colour scheme is off, and that the rule doesn't get run correctly, and the rules aren't being run correctly. Yeah, sure, it's not that much of an oddity, but why is it worth posting an entire paragraph about?

Just to clarify, adam/apg/calcyman has put a christmas theme on Catagolue. Changes include:
☆Different logo (Eater 2 with santa hat)
☆New colors for rule contribution charts (red, green, yellow)
There's also a new link to Fano on every rule's page.

Currently multistate hexagonal rules don't use Golly-compatible rulestrings for soups.

Rectified. Also, an amusing oddity: if you go to catagolue.appspot.com (no santa hat), it redirects to catagolue.appspot.com/home (with santa hat).

On the page for b3s01367/D2_+1 the tabulation has objects in a strange order: Oscillator Spaceship Stillife

EDIT:
Did you change it? It appears that it applies to all pages, not just that one. I swear it used to be oscillator-sl-spaceship or sl-osc-ship

I think that now it's ruthlessly alphabetic, in order of category names.
EDIT: never mind. It isn't.

Probably because the bounding box [of a hexagonal pattern] is actually a bounding rhombus, and LifeViewer chooses its initial viewport based on that.
