Inconsistent use of 1° and 2° clipboard on Linux

Post by Scorbie » January 22nd, 2017, 10:36 am

I am not sure if this is only happen on my machine, but Golly uses the primary clipboard when it's freshly loaded, but suddenly uses the secondary clipboard after a while. I'm not sure how to narrow down the bug. The systems I'm using:
Linux MInt, 64bit
Golly 2.9b1, 64bit, gtk

Thank you in advance.

Sorry for late reply. I've really no idea why that would be happening -- I didn't even know there was a secondary clipboard on some (all?) Linux systems! Golly uses high-level wxWidgets calls to manipulate the clipboard so it's probably a bug in the wxGTK code.
