Version beta 0.4.0 was uploaded today. The following changes since beta 0.3.0 have been made:

• The bottom-right generations per second box looks normal in Internet Explorer now
• The "About Life" and "About this website" sections on the left sidebar have been removed
• The left sidebar of the website now shows information about the current pattern, which automatically opens when the user loads a pattern
• The menus under "Help" now work on the main website
• Pop up windows are now centered a little better than they used to be
• The grid, bottom-right box and "background" in general all fade now when you open a pop-up window
• The user can no longer draw on the grid while a pop-over window (such as a save or load box) is open
• The zoom and scroll tools no longer flicker like they used to
• When a pattern is loaded via the querystring, the pattern's information (such as author and name) is now properly loaded and displayed
