I think the first crabstretcher is doomed unless we retime the simkin guns and buckaroos (in particular advancing them all by 7 generations). My reasoning is as follows:
First when I say "tubs1" I mean anything that results in a first sawtooth block pull being terminated without out leading to a salvo reaching the ship or a block currently being pulled in the second sawtooth (tubs, toads, or anything in the constellation of stuff down and to the left of the 3 glider collision). When I say "tubs2" I mean anything other than sawtooth destruction that results in a second sawtooth pull being terminated.
The importance of various features in increasing delay are as follows:
If a first sawtooth fuse exists:
tubs1 < initial_delay
otherwise:
initial_delay < tubs1
Secondly:
tubs1 or initial_delay << existence of first fuse
Thirdly:
existence of first fuse << tubs2
fourthly:
tubs2 <<<<<< existence of second fuse
In the following I believe the first sawtooth fuse could be moved up 5 diagonals, then fed into the space dust program to look for a 4 tick predecessor that fits within a 90 height (the search for a 4 tick predecessor adds another effective diagonal adding to 6 diagonals which preserves timing):

The problem is the second sawtooth fuse. It is correctly timed and positioned in a manner such that 5 tubs2 can be inserted between the boat and the fuse lighter. It is currently width 114 and space dust will probably quite easily get that to 112, and has no chance of getting the width to 111. Since tubs2 >> first fuse existence, the first fuse must go

If this is advanced seven ticks, the first fuse can be backed up 5 diagonals as previously and then fed into the space dust generator and can reasonably likely be expected to give a 89 height solution. Also if advanced 7 ticks the upper fuse will be in exactly the same position as in the first example, giving the maximum room between the boat and the second fuse lighter (note that I changed the version of the "best" lighter that I used because I used the +7 clean fuse ender and that was the only version the gliders cleared).
Advancing the internal phase involves the solution to several problems that I currently don't know how to do. I don't even know what the space dust program is called.
