The census you linked is actually "D4 +4", entered as a typo for D4_+4 and defaulted to C1 because this was before apgsearch was programmed to reject invalid symmetries.

I asked about this in one of my very first posts in the forum. I still don't know whether it was impossible to merge the census with C1 (probably possible with admin privileges) or it was just forgotten about.

If you look hard enough, you could find some other Catagolue oddities. For example, there is

Now renamed to yl2304_2016_04_28. I'm glad these dirty puffers only occur every few tens of trillions of objects, since they have to be handled manually.

In other Catagolue news, the datastore has magically shrunk from 25 gigabytes to 15 gigabytes due to the automatic deletion of old hauls in non-b3s23 censuses.

Cthulhu is asymmetric, has an odd population, and is markedly larger than the next-largest natural still-lifes (which have 42 cells). I would be interested to see what Dave Greene makes of this...
