A Sort of Game
A Sort of Game
This is to item lock as generations is to life-like cellular automata.
Someone has some sets.
Some set of things fit in those, like letters, numbers, fruits, cars, life patterns.
If one condition is satisfied, like if a fruit is red, it goes into one set.
If a different but related condition is satisfied, like if a fruit is yellow, it goes into another set.
Et cetera.
It is allowed to have one thing in multiple sets.
They must give at least one example for each set.
If a person guesses the rule correctly, they win.
If all things have been used but the rule hasn't been guessed correctly, the challenge starter wins.
People can guess what fits in what set.
I'll start.
Select letters.
Set 1 contains A and R.
Set 2 contains F and H.
Set 3 contains G and J.

Guess: Set 1 contains letters with diagonal lines in them
Set 2 contains letters made from just vertical and horizontal lines
Set 3 contains every other letter
Set 2 contains letters made from just vertical and horizontal lines
Set 3 contains every other letter

Interesting. I'll start a new game:

Re: A Sort of Game
No.
set 1: BK, BE, ER, CU, 34
set 2: BR, BN, CR, PP, A4
set 3: GE, RT, SN, SR, GR
That'll give away the answer...What are they a subset of?
set 1: BK, BE, ER, CU, 34
set 2: BR, BN, CR, PP, A4
set 3: GE, RT, SN, SR, GR
Re: A Sort of Game
I was thinking elements, but PP and a few others threw that off.testitemqlstudop wrote:No.That'll give away the answer...What are they a subset of?
