What's funny about that? All I can see is that you offset it by one backwards near the end.

Why is beehive at Claw so expensive? It costs 7 gliders. Honeycomb, a still life of the same population, is much rarer (about 10x less common) but has a 6G synth. This synth also has nothing to do with the symmetry of the honeycomb, so it seems to be a level playing ground (or in the favor of beehive at Claw, because it’s more common). I feel there has to be a cheaper synth.

Still life population possible (in Life)
4, 5
And above 5 are possible since you can extend tub and boat :)

Oscillator population possible (still in Life)
3, 6, 8
And above 8 are possible since you can extend barber pole :)

I wouldn’t want to mention it too much, but occasionally saying, “that reminds me of Breps” is absolutely fine.

Well, it seems like allowing people to draw their own conclusions for a few hours won't do anyone any harm. It's kind of traditional to play along for a while. And in one sense I already did what you're asking for, via the sentence with the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference.

As a moderator I had to decide what to do about your "Off-Topic" report. So I deleted it. It was slightly tempting to edit your post to say something completely different, confirming the existence of the wormhole, instead of just moving the post here to the Sandbox. With some difficulty, I was able to resist doing anything as evil as that, by repeating a line I borrowed from Spider-Man for use in my conwaylife.com moderation work:

"With infinitesimal power comes infinitesimal responsibility. With infinitesimal power comes infinitesimal responsibility..."

Ahem. Traditionally (since around 2015, I believe) I abstain from most websites for 40 hours on April Fools' Day (specifically, midnight 1 April to 4pm 2 April UTC+8) because I hate April Fools' Day jokes. They are usually very annoying and not at all humorous.

Serious things happen on 1 April too. Singapore's fiscal year begins on that date, and just today the new era name corresponding to the upcoming Emperor of Japan was announced – Reiwa (令和).
