Despite this rule not having common gliders, I still think it's possible to build guns. Maybe a huge sparker that spits out that pi-esque spark, and than another one interacting with it?

I'm searching C1, D2_+1, and D2_+2. D2_+2 is taking ages because of the puffers.

Maybe there could be a shuttle that shoots a puffer out (probably the symmetric one), and then we line three of those up and shoot that ship out. The spark on the p24 and p48 is not sparky enough to yield a simple gun, but maybe a shuttle. Here's an example of how brittle the p48 is:

Many more odd-period oscillators have showed up in higher symmetries as well, and at this point I'd wager a guess that the rule is omniperiodic.

There's a few of these -- either Catagolue isn't reproducing the sample soups correctly (very unlikely), or there's a bug in the hacked apgsearch script that causes these to be miscategorized.
