EDIT: the interaction is not trivial!!! Oscillators of periods 72, 69, 71, 37, 35 and 34 with an apparently identical reaction are described.
The previously described p69 can be made asymmetric and present a different evolution of the dots in the middle. If we could directly use the sparks formed by snowflake reactions and then regenerate the snowflake (fairly easy because of its small predecessor), it would be the next big step in engineering potential.

For oscillators, all periods are known (larger periods due to different G reflectors, other ones found due to apgsearch). Obviously not for guns and spaceships, but I am not sure if this was your question.

For spaceships we only have orthogonal c/2, 2c/4, 3c/6, etc (we can construct all of them using rakes), 2c/6, 2c/19, and 2c/12 diagonal. For all these speeds we also have puffers but a rake only for c/2 speeds and the 2c/19.

For guns, we have:
- G guns for all periods 19,30,33>=, pseudo guns for 21>= (for 17>= we have a salvo to insert a G - so should be doable)
- R guns for all periods 21,24,27,30,33,34,36,38>=, pseudo guns for 21>=, (for 19>= we have a salvo to insert an R)
- for the smallest 2c/12 diagonal ship we have a gun for all periods >= 80
- for the smallest 2c/19 ship we have a gun for all periods >=159

Please correct me if I am wrong, esp for the G and R guns, I might be wrong.

Thanks to the fairly understandable nature of the snowflake reactions, and the predictable reactivity (only a few pathways towards reaction and much more limited chaotic behaviour), it is particularly easy to prepare LLS setups for discovery of oscillators based on hassling a snowflake.
I have set my first p22 search. The number of clauses seems unwieldy, but the rational approach of LLS and the very non-chaotic behaviour could mean that the tree will be narrowed down very quickly early on. For future reference, searches like this one could be tuned quite well:

I'd suggest someone sets up a good LLS search with this and posts the file here so that we can run it with different small modifications to approach the search space from different possibilities. There almost certainly is a small spaceship with this reaction and it would be infinitely extensible.

On a side note, this is a weird reaction of a family with lots of sparky interactions (from the 3-cell pattern) that produces an oscillator.

It's not trivial to control the interaction due to the production of dots with some of its catalyses - namely the ones that could be catalysed by a reflected snowflake. However, it still is one of the most frequent <insert new generic name for engineerable patterns such as Herschels, B, etc> in Snowflakes so I'm not giving up on it.
